Out of the Trees

Douglas Adams was credited with writing in some episodes of the fourth and final series of Monty Python.

In 1975, he worked with Graham Chapman on a series called Out of the Trees.

What is amazing is that the actor who would go onto play Arthur Dent is in this program.

But it's also not entirely a very comfortable watch. There are concepts that might actually be so bad that they are... I don't know. Right about ten minutes is something that is very uncomfortable.

Yet, it's all meant to be funny. And it gets there and Douglas Adams wrote a lot of this. It feels like something secret and dumb.

Douglas Adams died the day I married my first wife back in 2001.

He was 49.

I have made it to 52.

In any case, the above is a very weird artifact.

Written by Douglas Adams.
