Reset for a day that could be a holiday

I prefer to work and now I like to sit with my coffee and begin with the sunrise. That happens in three minutes. Today is the winter solstice. I am happy and the sky has turned orange. I have to get the house ready for a dog to be here for five days.

I worked all day yesterday, a productive one. I'm not entirely sure what I did, but now I'm trying to determine if all the windows open are important.

One is a Slack channel for an organization I belong to for independent news publishers. I almost never look at this stuff but yesterday I downloaded some sample advertising contracts because I would like to sell ads across my platform. The window still open is one about job opportunities elsewhere. I decide to close this window.

I want to spend about two hours on property transactions today and I know exactly what the first thing I need to write is because there are several tabs open related to this. City permit portal. Charlottesville GIS. I definitely don't need a few deeds I bought yesterday to confirm a fact in a thing I wrote yesterday. I decide to go ahead and close all the property stuff because that's more of a thing to while watching soccer and there is only one match today.

What about the open window with all of the downloads? I don't want to sort through those, so I'll close it. I'll keep open the spreadsheet where I keep all my data. One day I have to figure out how to do data better. For today I want to see if early-morning brain can yield anything else. I want to keep this here because I know the first thing I want to write needs to go into something else.

So now I've got a few things organized and I can begin to get to the rest of the day. I want to reboot the computer and then get right to it whatever today is going to be.
